Day-by-Day Journey
Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome at the airport, transfer to Dwarika's Hotel. Briefing and welcome dinner.
Drive to Besi Sahar, Trek to Jagat
Private vehicle to the trek start. Trek through subtropical forest to Jagat.
Jagat to Dharapani
Walk the Marsyangdi valley through traditional villages.
Dharapani to Chame
Views of Manaslu and the Annapurnas begin to appear.
Chame to Upper Pisang
Spectacular views of Annapurna II and IV.
Upper Pisang to Manang
Cross the valley to Manang, gateway to the pass.
Acclimatization Day in Manang
Hike to Gangapurna Lake with your guide to help adapt to the altitude.
Manang to Thorong Phedi
Gradual climb through Yak Kharka to the base of the pass.
Cross Thorong La to Muktinath
The big day — cross the 5,416m pass before sunrise and descend to sacred Muktinath.
Muktinath to Jomsom
Visit the temple of Muktinath, then descend to Jomsom.
Fly to Pokhara
Scenic mountain flight to Pokhara. Afternoon at leisure by Phewa Lake.
Pokhara Day Trip to Poon Hill
Optional early drive and sunrise hike, or a day of spa and lakeside relaxation.
Fly to Kathmandu
Morning flight back to Kathmandu. Afternoon spa treatment.
